This book has been a great read, although I do not necessarily agree with everything that is written.

Linksys NSLU2UK Storage Link for USB 2.0 Disk Drives
The NSLU2UK is a fabulous piece of kit that is ideal for those with an external hard drive that want to share said hard drive over a network. It runs Linux so can be easily updated to include such software as a media server for itune, or various web applications. It’s a full blown Linux system, and Debian can easily be installed on it. Well worth buying.
I have just got hold the new Nokia N95, via ebay!
I have to say, its a pretty useful gadget. The inbuilt GPS can sometimes be a bit lacking, and the phone can sometimes be a bit slower than I’m used to, but overall its a winner. Here are a run down of the features.
- GPS built in, with Maps application and navigation
- Radio, which can actually play through the main speakers, should this be desired
- MP3 and video playback
- Camera with 5M pixel resolution, video at 640×480
- Large screen – I’m not sure what size
- Ability to actually be used as a phone
…that many of the hits to this site come during the midweek days, such as Tuesday and Wednesday. Therefore I am going to try to update this site on a monday. As an example of what I have being doing recently, here is a picture that I created using a digital camera and the gimp.
“Never go off on tangents, which are lines that intersect a curve at only one point and were discovered by Euclid, who lived in the 3rd century B.C., which was the end of the Middle Formative Period in Meso-America, where many principal sites of settlement were in the area that we now know as Belize, a common destination for SCUBA-diving tourists.” — Mostly me
“If you write for God, you will reach many people and bring them joy. If you write for people, you may make some money and you may give someone a little joy and you may make a noise in the world for a little while. If you write for yourself, you can read what you yourself have written and after ten minutes you will be so disgusted you will wish you were dead.”
After a lengthy spell of being out of action due to hackers, I am pleased to note that thinkjesus.co.uk is back in action.

Apologies for no post, but here is a penguin in its place. People have told me there should be more pictures up here, so I thought I’d draw something for y’all.

The picture of the mac mini I hope to be able to afford, once I have sold my stuff on ebay. It comes with 512MB RAM 60GB HD and Mac OSX Tiger. Look at the full specs
Having used Linux for the past six months, I feel like a bit of a cheat bringing home one of these, but not too bad – at least it will still be usable in a years time, unlike if I chose to upgrade to vista. From what I’ve seen so far, both Linux and OSX are more stable, look nicer and can do more out of the box than Vista. Oh yes, and there’s none of that crappy product activation stuff either. It just works. I’ve been wanting one of these ever since I saw what could be done with iMovie and the rest of the iLife suite.
