How to write an excellent Best Man’s Speech

Loading ...Since most of the hits from my site come from the Best Mans Speech I wrote for Richard’s wedding, I thought this makes me totally qualified to write on “How to write a Best Man’s speech”. Here goes.
Firstly, there is no point in using a canned speech, except maybe as a guide on how to structure the piece. The best Best Man’s Speeches are those that are unique to the individual groom, and need to reflect this as such. (2 votes, average: 4.5 out of 5) Loading ...Over the past few weeks I have been working on a system to accurately determine how relevant a site is to a particular topic via automated processes. I have slowly, due to my forthcoming wedding, been refining this technique, which I hope to use to rank content garnered from google, as well as several other search engines.
Hopefully in about a months time I will be able to provide more detail, as the wedding will be out the way, broadband will be reinstalled, and I’ll have removed all the asbestos from thousands of properties. Wait, that last part was a joke, at someone who shall remain nameless’ expense.
So far it is just 1 week and 3 days to go till the wedding, and it looks as though there will still be a lot to do. Unfortunately, it looks like work is getting heavy at the moment, so I will be trying to juggle sleep, work and wedding prep. as well as moving into a new house, trying to keep myself sane, and maintain my relationship with my fiance. Oh, and finances - which don’t seem to be too stressed, but its not a very pretty sight at the moment.
Hopefully things will get a little quieter soon.

Just over 1 Month to go

(No Ratings Yet) Loading ...Well, the time seems to have flown by, and the Wedding date is getting nearer and nearer. Thankfully most of the important stuff seems to be sorted now - the only remaining obstacle is to get everything paid on time and sorted so I can move into my new flat. Strangely enough I’m not feeling stressed about the whole thing, but I feel like I should be blogging a bit more and letting people know what I’m up to, in case they’re reading this.
Also, I have managed to get the stats working again, thanks to a more recent build of BAStats which works with 1.5.1 so I should be able to keep track of the people that come here. I’m thinking I may create a page which listes the most important stats about the site, which basically means how many people are using firefox.
