This book has been a great read, although I do not necessarily agree with everything that is written.

Linksys NSLU2UK Storage Link for USB 2.0 Disk Drives

The NSLU2UK is a fabulous piece of kit that is ideal for those with an external hard drive that want to share said hard drive over a network. It runs Linux so can be easily updated to include such software as a media server for itune, or various web applications. It’s a full blown Linux system, and Debian can easily be installed on it. Well worth buying.

I have just got hold the new Nokia N95, via ebay!
I have to say, its a pretty useful gadget. The inbuilt GPS can sometimes be a bit lacking, and the phone can sometimes be a bit slower than I’m used to, but overall its a winner. Here are a run down of the features.

  • GPS built in, with Maps application and navigation
  • Radio, which can actually play through the main speakers, should this be desired
  • MP3 and video playback
  • Camera with 5M pixel resolution, video at 640×480
  • Large screen - I’m not sure what size
  • Ability to actually be used as a phone
