Getting Things Done

This book has been a great read, although I do not necessarily agree with everything that is written.
I would have to say that most of the tools and techniques outlined in this book are sensible. My one big complaint with it, is that it focuses very precisely on the title, namely Getting Things Done. I would have preferred that the book described not only that, which it does very well, but also the art of being.
That is to say, sometimes you don’t want or need to get things done, you just want to have a good time with friends and family. If you were following strictly the guidelines in this book, you would not be able to enjoy yourself in the company of others.
