Wedding Invites (part 2)
| 25/4/2005 | Posted by Pete under General |
Well the wedding invites have been finished, so tomorrow they should be winging their way across to the destinations assigned to them. Its been a fair amount of work, but it did actually work out that we saved quite a bit of money over buying professionally made invites.
There’s not too much left to do regarding wedding prep, so I feel pretty confident that things are in hand, and that everything will run smoothly. I have several things to do over the next week, but none of it is particularly strenuous.

At last we are coming to the end of our wedding preparations, and will be soon sending out wedding invitations. Hopefully at some point this week. Trouble is, I’ve been too tired to actually do anything on the wedding, but it still has to be done. In a few weeks I have a job interview, which should be interesting.
I’m totally tired and I need to get up early tomorrow, so I will stop here.

Experimental Search Engine

At last I have begun to make some progress on creating a simple search engine. You can see the results of my labours over at http://search.socialexperiment.co.uk/. At the moment it is simplistic in its approach to searching, doing little more than a simple keyword density search.
However it is possible to rank individual pages within the search engine for particular search terms. Ranking can be increased to a specific amount only. It will not increase forever. This is to stop people clicking on the same item dozens of times.
Try it out if you like.
